Job Announcement – Slot Attendant

Apache Nugget Casino is currently seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Slot Attendant. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional customer service on the casino floor while assisting with slot machine operations and guest relations.

Position Summary

The Slot Attendant is responsible for assisting guests with slot machine operations, resolving guest concerns, supporting jackpot payouts, and ensuring smooth casino floor operations. This role is designed to provide outstanding guest service while promoting a welcoming and enjoyable gaming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Machine Operations and Maintenance

• Monitor slot machine performance and address malfunctions promptly
• Perform minor machine repairs or resets when appropriate
• Escalate technical issues to the maintenance team as needed
• Ensure all equipment operates within gaming regulatory standards

Guest Assistance

• Greet and assist guests with slot machine operation and redemption procedures
• Respond to guest concerns and service requests in a professional manner
• Process jackpot payouts, including verification of winnings and required documentation
• Maintain secure cash handling practices

Compliance and Reporting

• Adhere to all gaming regulations, internal controls, and casino policies
• Maintain accurate logs regarding machine activity, payouts, and guest interactions
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when necessary

Casino Floor Coverage

• Monitor assigned areas of the casino floor to ensure guest satisfaction
• Respond promptly to machine service calls to minimize downtime
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming gaming environment

Feedback and Reporting

• Communicate guest feedback and concerns to management
• Support promotional events and loyalty program initiatives
• Assist with generating reports related to guest service and promotional participation

Qualifications and Skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Previous experience as a Slot Attendant, Casino Host, or related customer service position preferred
• Knowledge of slot machine operations and casino floor procedures is a plus

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong customer service abilities with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with casino management systems and loyalty programs preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy, and smoke-filled environment

Work Schedule

• Part-Time Position
• Expected hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation

• Starting Pay: From $15.00 per hour
