Cage Cashier
Position Summary:
The Cage Cashier is responsible for assisting casino guests with transactions, loyalty program inquiries, and promotional activities. This dual-role position includes cashiering duties and Players Club responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all patrons while promoting the casino’s loyalty programs and services.
Cashier Duties:
1. Financial Transactions:
- Process guest transactions, including cashing checks, exchanging currency, issuing gaming tickets, and redeeming vouchers.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
- Follow security and compliance protocols for all monetary transactions.
2. Guest Assistance:
- Answer questions about gaming payouts, promotions, and other casino services.
- Address and resolve guest concerns regarding financial transactions.
3. Compliance and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Adhere to gaming regulations and internal controls for cashiering operations.
Players Club Specialist Duties:
1. Membership Enrollment:
- Enroll guests into the casino’s loyalty rewards program.
- Explain program benefits, rules, and promotional offers to guests.
2. Account Management:
- Assist guests with Players Club account inquiries, including earning and redeeming points, updating account information, and printing replacement cards.
- Promote and cross-sell services, such as upcoming events and promotions.
3. Promotions and Events:
- Distribute promotional materials and assist with event registration.
- Ensure guests are informed of ongoing and upcoming offers.
4. Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional service by creating a welcoming and positive experience for all guests.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or complaints.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
2. Experience:
- Prior experience in customer service, cashiering, or a hospitality role preferred.
- Experience in a casino or gaming environment is a plus.
3. Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and handling point-of-sale or casino management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to handle cash and sensitive guest information responsibly.
