Plant Manager

We are seeking a qualified Plant Manager to join our Team. 

The Plant Manager  will lead the facility management team.   This position will work with manufacturing leaders, engineering, maintenance, and other organizations to improve operational performance.

• Lead the implementation of world class practices such as first piece inspection, quality at the source, TPM, 5S, quick changeover, visual work cell, etc.
• Train and mentor area managers and leaders
• Improve factory performance in safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
• Exemplify and require professional conduct of team members.
• Assist the engineering team with the implementation of automation and new equipment.
• Identify and lead the refurbishment and care of equipment.
• Lead the quality management system implementation.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing methods and systems.
• Lead safety compliance culture
• Require compliance with all safety processes and procedures for safe operation.
• Learn and promote the OSHA requirements for safe conditions and acts.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment on all company property to achieve the best working conditions for all employees and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• The position will require some weekend and/or holiday work. 
• The company is not offering Relocation Assistance. 

Requirements:

• This position requires the ability to effectively communicate information both verbally and in writing with other employees and leadership. Ability to use MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• This position requires at least 5 years of factory leadership.
• Direct team efforts to meet business financial goals.   Oversee budget, spending, and investment in the factory operation.
• Leadership of area and department managers and support staff
