EVS Supervisor

Job Description Summary

Under direct supervision of the Operations Director, contributes to a positive guest experience by maintaining the guest areas, entrances, gaming areas and administrative areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Meet or exceed guest satisfaction.

Qualification Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED.

· 2-year w/ (1) experience preferred in guest services.

· Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.

· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

· Ability to safely use cleaning products and safely operate cleaning equipment.

· Ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction.

· Ability to learn the methods of cleaning and caring for buildings, grounds, and equipment.

· Ability to work as a team member in a structured working environment.

· Ability to demonstrate excellence in all job duties and continually seek improvement in results.

· Skill in the use of cleaning tools, chemicals, cleaners, and disinfectants.

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Reliable transportation to meet your schedule demands.

· No felony, theft or stealing convictions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

· Implements established department procedures and programs that meet goals and ensures a clean and safe environment.

· Conducts quality improvement inspections within assigned areas of responsibility to ensure quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and/or exceeding expectations.

· Develops/coaches department associates to ensure fullest potential is reached.

· Ensures work assignments, daily and weekly work schedules meet department and facility needs. Will be required to work multiple shifts.

· Orders and uses all supplies/equipment within the areas of assigned responsibility.

· Order and inventory supplies.

· Tours the casino to ensure that guests’ needs and expectations are met at all times.

· Reports all pertinent data to the Housekeeping Manager in a timely manner.

· Knows all procedures or employee personnel manuals and meets all established.

· Maintains a safe work environment.

· Ability to accurately review and process data with good computer skills and attend to detail.

· Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and accomplish objectives without supervision.

· Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

· Ability to handle and resolve problems.

· Works in a team environment interacting with a variety of departments.

· Possesses excellent guest service skills.

· Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships; treats others courteously and with respect.

· Responds to emergencies at both nighttime and on weekends as required.

· Handles varying workloads and meets changing deadlines as necessary.
