Overview
The Logistics Coordinator will drive precision and accountability across project logistics coordination and project storage practices. While the role does not include direct supervisory duties, it functions as an informal leadership position by setting the standard for professionalism, reliability, and execution within the Logistics Team. The role demands a proactive approach to managing project logistics, with a strong emphasis on meticulous documentation, cross-functional communication, and ownership of responsibilities from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures all required documentation is created, filed and retained for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Track and analyze misshipments to ensure they don’t occur again
- Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of raw materials from suppliers to support field operations and minimize cost impacts.
- Resolve, in collaboration with the Project Managers any issues pertaining to delays in project execution and seek ways to resolve these appropriately
- Oversee the planned maintenance of project equipment and transport.
- Participate in project meetings and report on progress status.
- Ensures both the auditing and payment of all freight invoices is handled in both a timely and costeffective manner.
- Assists in the tracking and tracing of shipments, coordination of the exceptions and communication of these exceptions, with alternate delivery plans, to internal and external customers.
- Help trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records; recommends remedial action to resolve differences
- Utilizes intermediate to advance computer skill (Excel, Word); emailing, ERP software (Sage)
- Display initiative in improving processing and reporting results
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; high school diploma with 7 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Preferred experience in a senior or lead logistics/coordinator role, with demonstrated leadership or team oversight responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
- Working knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations in a highvolume environment
- Prior customer service experience with a focus on issue resolution and stakeholder support
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (sitting or standing).
- Frequent use of computer, keyboard, and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files, equipment, and interact with team members.
- Ability to lift or move items up to 1520 pounds as needed.
