Laborer - Haines, Alaska
AP&T is seeking a motivated and dependable laborer to join our team in Haines, Alaska.
This is a seasonal position for the remainder of 2026, with the potential to open in the
spring of 2027. This position will provide a variety of support to the line crew on the
power side.
As a laborer, this position will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including:
Brush cutting and weed trimming
Oil changes and basic mechanical maintenance
Supporting powerplant operations
Other duties as assigned by the crew lead
This is a manual labor role that requires strong work ethic and a willingness to take on
diverse tasks
Schedule:
7:00A.M. to 3:30P.M., Monday through Friday, through the remainder of 2026
Occasional overtime may be required
Candidate Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by AP&T
1 year mechanical or electrical experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug test
Basic computer skills
The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour and is DOE, AP&T offers a generous
benefit package including (but not limited to) medical, dental, vision, 401K, (plus more)

insurance reimbursement and employee stock ownership options. $200.00 in company
