About Us AP Professional Security provides professional security officers to clients across the Columbia area. Our branch has about 55 officers, and we're looking for an organized, dependable Operations Manager to keep the office and day-to-day operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Manage officer schedules in When I Work and make sure every post is covered
- Handle call-outs, find coverage, and track attendance, tardies, and no-call/no-shows
- Act as the main point of contact for officers and clients during office hours
- Keep personnel files, training records, licenses, and certifications current and compliant
- Help with hiring paperwork, onboarding, and new officer orientation
- Prepare reports for leadership on staffing, attendance, and site coverage
- Process payroll hours, timesheet corrections, and billing support
- Keep the office organized, including supplies, uniforms, equipment, and key logs
- Help the Captain of Security and Lieutenant with client requests and site needs
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of office management, operations, or scheduling experience (security, staffing, or a similar industry is a plus)
- Strong organization and the ability to juggle several priorities at once
- Clear, professional communication by phone, email, and in person
- Comfortable with scheduling software, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and email
- Able to stay calm and solve problems when coverage falls through
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
