Job Summary 

Southend Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Pharmacy Technician. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that a pharmacy or healthcare facility complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Their duties are specialized and often administrative, with a focus on quality assurance and risk management. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact on the safety and well-being of our patients.

Please note that this evening shift schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM; however, hours may be adjusted based on business needs, and flexibility in availability is expected to support teams and operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Compound prescriptions with precision and care

• Ensure timely and accurate medication distribution

• Organize and manage medication orders and records

• Monitor and replenish medication supplies

What We Require

• RPHT-TX certification from the State Board of Pharmacy

• Recent experience in sterile pharmacy technician roles

• IV certification

Preferred Requirements

• CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board

• Completion of 40 hours of accredited training in compounding sterile products
