What are the responsibilities and job description for the Habilitation Trainer position at AP HCS Program?

Habilitation Trainer will work in a family home with an individual with intellectual disabilities/autism, in the person's home or in the community. In home services may include: assisting with daily living skills, community inclusion, training programs, transporting to medical/dental appointments, and other duties assigned. Travel is required between Fort Bend and Wharton County. Knowledge of the area is helpful. Must be able to work independently and have ideas on places to go and things to do with the indivdiuals served. Must have the skills to communicate with family members. Must be punctual. Reliable transportation with insurance is required. Must past a criminal background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
