A prestigious, award-winning offshore law firm based in the Channel Islands is seeking a Litigation lawyer to join its Litigation team in Jersey. This position will involve taking principal responsibility for a broad range of contentious matters, managing and coordinating client work with minimal partner supervision, and maintaining extensive direct client contact. The successful candidate will also supervise junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the firm's global litigation practice.
The ideal candidate will have 6 years’ post-qualification experience with a Jersey, UK or Commonwealth qualification and significant litigation experience, together with strong technical, drafting and legal research skills. Candidates should have proven delegation and supervisory experience, a client-focused approach and strong organisational and time-management abilities. Business development experience and an understanding of time recording, billing and financial disciplines would be advantageous. The ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, manage competing priorities and contribute to cross-jurisdictional projects is essential.
