Role Summary

We are seeking a Regional Manager to establish and grow our presence in the Energy Industry. This role combines technical leadership, client engagement, and market development, acting as the primary interface between clients and our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement and Business Development

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline
  • Develop proposals, define scopes, and contribute to pricing strategies
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities

2. Project Management & Delivery Coordination

  • Manage small/medium project scope, schedule, and budget for locally driven projects
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues
  • Coordinate between clients and our multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure smooth execution
  • Ensure consistent communication and high client satisfaction throughout delivery

3. Technical Leadership

  • Lead engineering design, review, and execution for projects in the region
  • Provide technical oversight and ensure quality and compliance with applicable codes and standards
  • Act as the senior technical face to clients, building credibility and trust
  • Support and mentor junior local staff to gradually expand local delivery capability
  • Collaborate closely with head office engineering teams on complex work 

4. Local Office Development

  • Act as the local leader, driving business development
  • Provide insights on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning
  • Help define hiring plans and expansion of the regional team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process, or Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation is strongly preferred
  • 8–12 years of progressive engineering experience, including project leadership
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing roles and business development
  • Strong technical foundation with practical experience in Oil&Gas industry
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and growth
