Schedule
🕒 Monday - Friday
🕒 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Evening Shift)
Compensation
💲 $20.07 per hour
Essential Functions
As a Maintenance & Facilities Technician, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair duties, including but not limited to:
- Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Plumbing installation and repairs
- Grounds maintenance and care
- Carpentry work and repairs
- Floor tile installation and replacement
- Cold patch roof repairs
- Operation of maintenance equipment and tools
- Fence installation and repair
- Furniture and equipment assembly and repair
- Routine preventive maintenance of equipment
- Driveway and parking lot repairs
- Delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the district
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks
- Maintaining accurate inventory and work order records
- Performing additional maintenance-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to work effectively with school staff, maintenance teams, vendors, and community members
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to work independently while following district policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Qualifications
✅ Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required
✅ High School Diploma or GED
✅ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
✅ Ability to work independently and safely
✅ Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
Additional Requirements
- Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check
- Fingerprinting costs are the responsibility of the applicant
