Pay Rate: $17.87/hour
Hours: Varies based off school; Anytime between 7am-5pm
🎓 What You’ll Do
As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the learning experience for students ages 3–12. Under the guidance of a classroom teacher and supervision of the principal, you’ll help students build grade-level skills through personalized support and engaging activities.
Your role will include:
•   Supporting individual students or small groups to reinforce classroom lessons
•   Guiding independent study, enrichment, or remedial activities
•   Assisting with grading and preparing classroom materials
•   Helping lead group activities and school-wide events
•   Preparing supplies and instructional tools for daily learning
•   Supervising students during lunch, recess, field trips, and special events
•   Participating in professional development to grow your skills
•   Pitching in with other duties as needed

Education Requirements (must meet one of the following):
•   At least 60 college credit hours
•   Associate’s degree or higher
•   Passing score on the Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment
•   Completion of Missouri’s online Substitute Training Program
