Job Description
The Operations Administrator provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth daily operations of the office. This individual is responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, collecting and recording meter readings, entering service and supply order requests, and dispatching service technicians in a timely and efficient matter.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel
- Greet and assist customers visiting the office in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect, input, and maintain accurate meter reading data
- Coordinate and dispatch service technicians based on scheduling needs and service requests
- Proactively enter and manage supply orders based on customer requests and insights from data collection tools
- Perform additional general administrative duties to support office operations, as needed
Required Experience/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar operations/support role is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Proficient with basic computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
- Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 pounds)
