This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lake Charles, LA, for a Level 2 - Advanced IT Technician/Engineer. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing IT systems, networks, and devices to ensure reliable operations. This includes deploying hardware, managing system upgrades, resolving advanced technical issues, and implementing security measures. Collaboration with team members, customers, and other departments will be critical for delivering technical support, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Strong knowledge of IT support and troubleshooting, including diagnostics, repair, and proactive issue resolution.
- Experience in maintaining and managing systems, network administration, and ensuring system security and functionality.
- Familiarity with cloud services, data backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring hardware like workstations, routers, switches, and other office IT equipment.
- Experience with Active Directory, domain management, and IT infrastructure planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and team members to deliver superior technical support and solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
