Schedule and conduct on-site inspections for new construction and substantial rehabilitation of multi-family properties
Evaluate units for compliance with HUD Housing Quality Standards (HQS)
Complete inspection reports and required documentation in accordance with HUD and company guidelines
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with property owners, contractors, and clients
Educate contractors and property owners regarding program requirements and inspection results
Attend company training and adhere to all policies and directives
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work with clients and contractors
Willingness to travel for inspections
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Associate or Bachelor’s degree OR
ICC certification, engineering license, or architectural license OR
At least 5 years of experience in multifamily housing inspection is required
$30 – $60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
