Title: HUD / Multifamily Housing Inspector
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, 1099
We are currently seeking qualified inspectors to perform Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections for senior living and multifamily housing properties. We are hiring 10 part-time and 2 full-time candidates for this role.
Important: This is not a home inspector position. We are specifically seeking candidates with experience in HUD, multifamily, or comparable inspection environments.
Responsibilities:- Schedule and conduct on-site inspections for new construction and substantial rehabilitation projects under OHP guidelines
- Evaluate units and properties for compliance with HUD Housing Quality Standards (HQS)
- Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation in accordance with HUD, OHP, and company requirements
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally with stakeholders
- Experience in multifamily housing inspections is strongly preferred
- We will also consider candidates with other relevant inspection experience (e.g., building, code compliance, government inspections)
- Background in HUD, REAC, NSPIRE, UPCS, building inspection, or related fields is highly desirable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing inspections for HUD or other government/local agencies preferred
- Willingness to travel for inspections
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
