Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Inspector based in Fort Worth, TX. The Chief Inspector will be responsible for overseeing inspection operations, ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA and UKCAA regulations, and maintaining high-quality control standards. Daily tasks will include reviewing repair work, conducting inspections, maintaining inspection logs, and collaborating with technicians and management to ensure adherence to the company’s and regulatory standards. The Chief Inspector will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement in inspection processes.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random FAA/DOT drug screen.
- FAA A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification required
- Expertise in quality control, inspection practices, and regulatory compliance in the aviation industry
- Familiarity with FAA, EASA and UKCAA regulatory guidelines, including hands-on experience with certifications and audits
- Skills in troubleshooting, analyzing, and solving problems related to accessory components, such as switches, sensors, and controllers
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills for maintaining inspection logs and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technicians and management
- Experience in aerospace or aviation MRO facilities
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, equipment, and software for reporting and tracking
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
