Assistant Girls Cross Country Coach

Responsibilities to include:
- Planning, Organizing and Conducting daily practices
- Assist in management of uniform and equipment distribution.
- Develop practice and game strategies in accordance with the Head Varsity Coach plan.
- Maintain adequate communication with athletes and parent(s).
- Keep Athletic Director and Varsity Head Coach informed of scheduling changes, athlete and/or
- parental issues.
- Provide support to Head Varsity Coach as needed.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- Applicant Requirements:
- Coaching experience preferred.
- Applicant must have basic understanding of technical aspect of running.
- Applicants must have playing experience at the high school varsity, club, and/or college level.
- Familiarity with the Catholic High School League and knowledge of the MHSAA organizations
- preferred. Willingness to meet all League and state coaching requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and parents.
- Must take Protecting God's Children workshop, background check, and digital fingerprints.
- After School availability (3:00 pm or after) for practices and events.
- Saturday availability during season.
