AOC is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for its Eastern Sales Territory, which includes Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. The Sales Representative will sell AOC's formulated specialty chemical products by developing deep customer relationships, utilizing extensive product knowledge and understanding the ever-changing market.The Sales Representative will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.Duties and responsibilities:Territory Strategy Development & ImplementationWork with Regional Sales Manager to establish plans to achieve commercial goalsIdentify, research and pursue new sales opportunitiesDevelop and maintain extensive market knowledge of sales territoryGenerate short-term and long-term forecastsAccount ManagementDevelop and implement individually tailored account plans that help execute and achieve AOC’s commercial goals and strategic initiativesEstablish key relationships at all appropriate organizational levels by making regular in-person visits and frequent contact by other means (video meetings, phone calls, emails)Effective communication with customer – including great listening skills that often discover customer needs – which ultimately informs AOC’s strategy to provide value-added solutions resulting in high customer fulfillment and satisfactionDevelop strong understanding of customers’ end markets and the role that AOC products execute as part of the production process and importance in end-use applicationsDetermine best methods for servicing accounts, including, among other things, details related to channel management, technical resources deployed, transportation strategy and overall account managementTerms and Conditions compliance (freight protocols, payment terms, etc.)Qualifications:Minimum of four years of previous sales experienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fieldStrong negotiation and closing abilitiesSelf-motivated, with a strong work ethic and results-oriented mindsetExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPointEffective collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to travel up to 75% of the time
Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
