What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asbestos Abatement Worker (Texas Certified) position at AOC Construction, Inc.?
We are looking for efficient, safety-minded Asbestos Abatement Workers who have a current Texas workers license issued from the TXDSHS. Most of our projects are Government/Commercial construction projects.
Applicant must have reliable transportation to work. We offer a consistent work schedule, competitive pay, profit sharing, PTO, and paid vacation.
The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security. We will pay you while attending training and certification classes.
Prior experience with hand tools, and powered industrial equipment (forklifts, man-lifts, etc. ) is a plus.
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED.
Some of the required duties include.
Utilizing various types of Remediation/Abatement Equipment
Lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
Operate company vehicles and equipment
Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
Perform general maintenance checks of construction equipment and vehicles
Licensed TX Abatement Worker's starting salary is $17.20 per hour.
