AOC Archaeology is seeking enthusiastic Project Supervisors and Project Officers to join our team in delivering large-scale projects within Lincolnshire over the next 6 months.
These projects offer an exciting opportunity to investigate a significant archaeological landscape with the potential for extensive Roman and medieval settlement remains, alongside industrial archaeology associated with Lincolnshire’s historic salt-making industry.
Role
Working within a large project team, successful candidates will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of archaeological fieldwork and contribute to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Responsibilities May Include
- Supervising archaeological teams in the field
- Planning fieldwork and coordinating teams
- Ensuring quality and consistency of archaeological recording
- Supporting project delivery against programme requirements
- Mentoring and developing junior staff
- Liaising with Project Managers and senior colleagues
- Contributing to reporting and post-excavation work where required
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety

About You
- Have substantial commercial archaeological fieldwork experience
- Have experience supervising field teams and excavation projects
- Demonstrate excellent recording and interpretative skills
- Are confident working independently and managing workloads
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Are committed to maintaining high professional standards
- Degree level qualifications;
- CSCS card (preferred);
- Driving license (preferred).
