The Social Studies & ELA Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our 4th and 5th grade Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standard based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Essential Functions
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
- Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students.
- Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
- Integrate technology into the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members in educating students.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Current or pending MSDE certification.
- Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.

Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000, Annualized
