What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extended Care Director (NE) (Current Opportunity) -St. John the Evangelist School, Hydes MD position at AOB?

The Extended Day Care Director should have experience working with young children. In addition, he/she would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff.

Hours for the position are as follows:
Monday: 7:50 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Essential Functions

Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program.
Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for the students.
Provide a safe and clean environment for the students.
Record daily student attendance.
Record daily payments and post to the accounts receivable system.
Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters.
Supervision of day care staff members.
Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration.
Comply with all regulations of the State Letter of Compliance.
Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.

Position Qualifications

Experience working with children / High School Diploma (must be 18 years)
MSDE childcare credentialing or willingness to obtain.
First Aid and CPR certified.
Excellent references.

Range: $16-19, Hourly
