Essential Functions
Strategic Communication & Outreach
- Act as a liaison for prospective students, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Manage the distribution of digital and physical recruitment materials.
- Maintain clear and consistent follow-up to ensure families have all necessary information throughout the enrollment process.
- Assist with coordination involving external scholarship foundations.
The Campus Experience
- Coordinate Personal Visits: Manage the logistics of individual student visits to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Student Ambassador Pairing: Match prospective guests with current student hosts to provide a personalized and authentic view of campus life.
Admissions & Testing Support
- Assist in gathering and verifying required admissions documentation for all applicants.
- Support the logistics of admissions and placement testing sessions.
Event Coordination
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of major recruitment events, including Open Houses, Freshman Welcome, and Transfer Orientation.
- Support evening and special events, such as Parent Information Nights and educational fairs.
Administrative & Digital Excellence
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Admissions.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while utilizing digital tools to maintain accurate applicant records and departmental schedules.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree.
- Google Workspace Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Google products to manage daily workflows, including:
- Education & Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role; experience in an educational setting is a plus.
- Google Sheets: Creating and updating trackers for applicant data.
- Google Forms: Managing inquiry forms and event registrations.
- Google Calendar: Managing schedules for campus tours and interviews.
- Google Drive: Maintaining an organized digital filing system for admissions documents.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact comfortably with diverse groups of students and parents.
- Organization: A “logistics-first” mindset with the ability to balance event planning and data management.
- Flexibility: Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for major recruitment events.
Pay Range: $24.04 - $26.44, Hourly
