The Project Coordinator is a key contributor within the team assisting with strategic projects, trade compliance, continuous improvement activities and projects, customer specific project support, and supply chain management activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, budgeting and negotiating skills, and self-motivation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordination of New Product Trade Compliance:Coordinate directly with trade brokers on inbound customs clearanceProvide customs code classification guidance to include technical specifications internally and externallyTracking internal product customs codes as it relates to tariff updatesSupport Projects and OpportunitiesManagement of product sourcing projects from conception to productionSupport of intracompany project meetings and project tracking systemsSupport of financial analysis, including management of product cost and cost reduction initiatives/negotiationsCollaborate with marketing team and initiate appropriate changes to engineering teamSupport of Product Development and continuous improvement activities Identify and onboard potential new suppliers domestically and globally for various product ranges Build relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost and developing agreements that increase profitabilityGood understanding of importing laws with duty, tariffs, and anti-dumpingSupport of the AOB Asia WFOE, and support of new/existing product sourcing activities overallSupport product sourcing and resourcing activities and optimize product quality, cost, and supply chain robustnessUnderstand materials costs and various manufacturing techniques Perform new supplier development activitiesCollaborate with suppliers/manufacturers, as needed, in support of existing products and products in developmentStrong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to lead meetings Strong organization skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and negotiation skills Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.Build and maintain professional, constructive working relationships with other departments and with suppliersWork safely as well as identify and report any safety hazards immediatelyMaintain good housekeeping in personal area and all common areasOther responsibilities as assignedNOTE: This list presents only the principal duties of the position and is not intended to be comprehensive. Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
