About The Role
The Embroidery Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily embroidery operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This role supports, trains, and guides team members, while also collaborating with management to improve efficiency and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the embroidery team to meet daily production targets and deadlines
- Operate embroidery machines and assist with complex or high-priority orders as needed
- Monitor quality control to ensure all products meet company standards
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on processes, equipment, and best practices
- Coordinate job assignments and workflow to maximize efficiency
- Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate maintenance needs when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Track production progress and report on performance metrics to management
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in embroidery production required
- Experience with multi-head machines, preferably ZSK
- Strong knowledge of embroidery machines and production processes
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Effective communication and team leadership skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Sunday – Thursday, 2:30 PM - 11:00PM
- Overtime may be required during peak production periods in accordance with business needs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and workplace standards
- Participate in required safety training and compliance programs
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately
- Maintain compliance with attendance, timekeeping, and workplace conduct policies
