Position Summary
We’re looking for a mindful and reliable hand-- a CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal components according to engineering specifications and quality standards. This role ensures efficient production while maintaining safety and accuracy. For the right candidate, this can evolve into a career, not just a job.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints, process documentation, and use inspection measuring devices.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC Lathes, conventional lathes, and various hand tools as required in a machine shop environment.
- Ability to identify and correct production machining issues.
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical components, fumes, and airborne particles
- Loud noise levels and climate-controlled
- Use of PPE is required
