Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support the organization’s financial health. Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, enabling informed decision-making and compliance with industry standards.. 

Responsibilities

• Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software QuickBooks Online.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
• Reconcile Shopify and Amazon accounts
• Assist in budgeting processes and generate financial reports to support organizational planning and decision-making

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bookkeeping, accounting software QuickBooks online and technical accounting practices
• Strong understanding of GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and journal entries
• Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting accurately
• Familiarity with financial report writing, account analysis, budgeting, and tax experience
• Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
