JOB DESCRIPTION
- Be responsive to all customer inquires in a professional and proactive manner.
- Building effective internal and external relationships with Escrow, Title, and Sales through the delivery of truly remarkable service.
- Handle issues/problems arising from the payoff file. Ensure the accuracy of all payoff figures.
- Accurately take instructions from the title unit to verify all demands with lenders.
- Timely follow up with the title unit to assure that all monies have been received from escrow for any shortages due to the company within 24 to 48 hours.
- Operate office equipment (I.e. copier, scanner, fax machine, e- mail).
- Process the payoff file so that it is disbursed in a timely manner based on the customer’s requirements.
- Post all incoming wires to and follow up on all unclaimed wires.
- Keep track of all holds, shortages and updated demands to follow files.
- Must be able to collect and analyze information in order to find creative solutions for solving problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to adhere to appropriate company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to identify internal and external customer requirements and expectations.
- Must possess excellent follow up skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- PC skills preferred.
- Payoff experience in the Title industry preferred. Bookkeeping/Accounting, work experience Title/Banking industry required.
