About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable, ambitious, and motivating coach who can deliver an exceptional training experience. Our coaches lead AF Training sessions, provide world-class customer service, build strong member relationships, and help clients achieve real, lasting results.

Availability:

• Must have flexible hour availability during the week & weekends
• Must be 18 years or older
• This is not a seasonal or temporary position

Requirements

• 1 year of Personal Training experience
• Accredited Personal Training certification (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA)
• Current First Aid & CPR/AED certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to coach all fitness levels—beginner to elite
• Exceptional ability to build rapport with members daily
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to meet performance metrics
• Confident, high-energy, and engaging public speaker
• Professional, punctual, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping others
• Able to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong passion for fitness and continuous self-improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead AF TEAM and Small Group Training sessions with energy, clarity, and professionalism
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
• Provide individualized attention during sessions to ensure safety, proper technique, and motivation
• Demonstrate all exercises with appropriate regressions and progressions
• Set up and break down equipment for sessions; maintain a clean, organized, and high-energy environment
• Assist with club promotions, challenges, and fitness activities
• Serve as a brand ambassador inside and outside the gym
• Build relationships with prospective members and help convert them into active members
• Maintain high standards of club cleanliness (bathrooms, workout areas, equipment)
• Use personal and business social media to promote the club consistently
• Motivate and support members before, during, and after sessions
• Deliver coaching using the official AF Training methodology and verbiage

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Personal training: 1 year (Preferred)
• Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Personal Trainer (Preferred)
