Essential Functions:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and others, according to client preferences and needs.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and medical histories to determine appropriate massage treatment plans.
- Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during massage sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of massage rooms and equipment.
Job Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Completion of a formal massage therapy training program from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and others.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess clients' needs and customize treatment plans accordingly.
- Experience working in a spa, wellness center, or clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of contraindications and precautions related to massage therapy.
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and build trust.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods.
