Job Summary
The Yoga Instructor designs and leads engaging fitness classes that promote physical health, mental well-being, and community participation — guiding structured yoga sessions to improve flexibility, balance, and mindfulness, and dynamic Zumba routines to enhance cardiovascular endurance and energy. Instructors ensure safe practice by demonstrating proper techniques, offering modifications for varying skill levels, and maintaining a supportive, motivating environment. They also contribute to program development, track attendance, and foster a culture of wellness.
Essential Functions
- Design and lead engaging yoga and Zumba classes that promote physical health and mental well-being.
- Guide structured yoga sessions to improve flexibility, balance, and mindfulness.
- Lead dynamic Zumba routines to enhance cardiovascular endurance and energy.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and offer modifications for varying skill levels.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and motivating class environment.
- Contribute to program development and track class attendance.
- Foster a culture of wellness aligned with club goals.
Qualifications
- Certified Yoga Instructor and/or licensed Zumba Fitness Instructor
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of group fitness teaching experience
- Background in wellness, dance, or physical education is an advantage
