THE ROLE
As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting fitness consultations and assessments with new and prospective members
- Designing and delivering 1-on-1 and small group training programs tailored to each client
- Actively selling personal training packages — you'll be expected to present options, follow up, and close
- Tracking client progress and holding clients accountable to their goals
- Supporting overall club operations: member engagement, cleanliness, and front-desk coverage during scheduled hours
- Representing the gym's culture by being approachable, professional, and motivated every single shift
- Attending team meetings and staying current on industry trends, tools, and certifications
YOU'RE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU...
- ISSA or NASM strongly preferred. Hold a nationally recognized personal training certification —
- Have a verifiable track record of helping clients achieve real, measurable results
- Aren't afraid to ask for the sale. Are comfortable initiating sales conversations and
- Understand that building a client base takes hustle, consistency, and follow-through
- Can communicate with members of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds
- Show up on time, prepared, and with energy — every time
- Hold or are willing to obtain current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
This is a performance-driven role with real earning potential:
- Pay commensurate with experience and certifications. Competitive hourly base rate for administrative duties, fitness consultations, and facility support —
- Commission earned on personal training sessions completed — the more you train, the more you earn
- Flexible scheduling available, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Your earning ceiling is largely determined by how hard you work to build your client roster

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of personal training experience in a commercial gym setting
- Experience selling fitness services or memberships
- Familiarity with InBody or similar body composition technology
- Experience coaching group fitness or small group training
