M-Fri 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. (to include flex day of choice)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Membership & Training Sales —We use a proven system that helps our guests overcome their own roadblocks to starting a fitness program. When used correctly, this system doesn't feel like sales at all. Remember, you are hired to inspire. Having the ability to connect with people, learn about their needs, and help them reach their goals and establishing relationships with new and existing members within the facility - what could be better?
Club Promotional Marketing —We love the creative "guerilla" type marketing! We do use traditional marketing strategies (television, radio, newspaper, direct mail, etc.), but we really prefer the creative stuff. A good understanding of how to use social media is a plus.
Networking / Employee Wellness —We work with a network of local and national employers and insurance companies that try to encourage their employees to lead healthier lifestyles. Making contacts is the first step—then we try to find a solution that helps everyone.
Member Experience — The most important aspect of all! Does your club rock? Do your members love you? Do they like the environment you create inside the club? Are they inspired to share their experience with friends, family, and coworkers? We pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer service and aim to make each member's and guest's experience exceptional! Do you have this effect on people?
Daily Operations – You'll join us in taking on club operations tasks (member follow-ups, reports, etc.) daily and as the needs present themselves. This includes cleaning equipment, common areas, and restrooms.
Job Duties:
- Answering prospect and member requests via phone call, email, and text
- Providing prospects with tour of facility and amenities
- Presenting prospect with membership pricing options
- Completing membership onboarding process
- Clean and maintain the facility's appearance daily for ‘sparkle’, to include front entrance, main lobby, shower/changing rooms, exercise floors, gym equipment, storage and utility areas, walls, hallways, etc.
- Responsible for Club social media marketing and posting regular content; design marketing materials (posters, signs, etc.)
- Assist with equipment and facility maintenance; help perform inspections and monitor preventative maintenance programs
- Assist with development and implementation of club programs, helping research the topics and benchmark goals
- Assist to monitor quality control of all club services and work with other staff to ensure superior customer service
- Assist to accurately manage club supplies and inventory
- Personal training (if candidate is a certified personal trainer)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year customer service/sales experience
- A willingness to learn fitness club management software (Club O/S, Club Dashboard, ABCFitness, etc.)
- Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, database, social media and video content creation
- Excellent verbal and written communication and top-tier customer service skills
- Walk the talk of living a healthy and well lifestyle
- Must be goal-oriented and have a passion for helping individuals achieve their personal goals
- Must be friendly, outgoing and a people-person
- A strong work ethic, honesty, discipline and integrity
- An entrepreneurial spirit as a contributor that will partner closely with our Personal Training Team
- Proven ability to multi-task and high attention to detail
- Proven ability and a high level of comfort in sales
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
Desirable
- Current CPR, First Aid and AED certifications
- Experience in the fitness industry
- Some higher education towards a degree in Corporate Wellness, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Business, Hospitality or related field
- Professional certifications (ACSM, ACE, NASM or similar)
