Duties
- Safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles such as personal cars, vans, limousines, and shuttles for individual clients or groups.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing courteous and professional customer service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment loading and unloading.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, or any delays to maintain high service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, chauffeur, shuttle driver, or in a similar passenger transportation role.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes.
- Experience operating various passenger vehicles including vans, limousines, or medical transport vehicles is preferred.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicles and commercial driving.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and route coordination.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Prior experience in customer service roles involving transportation is highly desirable.
