What You’ll Do
As a Member Experience Specialist, you will play an important role in creating a clean, welcoming, and healthy workout environment for our members. Your primary responsibility is maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the club so every member feels comfortable, safe, and motivated when they walk through the door.
You will focus on daily cleaning, organization, and facility upkeep, ensuring equipment, bathrooms, floors, and workout areas are consistently maintained to a high standard. By keeping the club clean and well-organized, you help provide the positive experience members expect from Anytime Fitness.
You will also greet members, answer basic questions, and assist with light front-desk duties when needed — helping ensure every member feels welcomed and supported while enjoying a clean, professional fitness environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the club throughout your shift
- Clean and sanitize workout equipment, training areas, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Keep bathrooms, locker areas, and floors clean, stocked, and presentable
- Empty trash, replace towels, and restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Ensure weights and equipment are returned to their proper place to keep the gym organized and safe
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting equipment, and wiping down surfaces
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner and help create a welcoming environment
- Answer basic questions and assist guests or members with simple requests when needed
- Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to management
- Help ensure the club remains a clean, healthy, and enjoyable place for members to work out at all times.
