What You’ll Do
As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading Club Managers and teams to hit growth targets across membership, coaching, and overall operations. Your role will directly support the success of 4–5 locations, working closely with ownership to uphold brand standards and exceed expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive performance in membership growth and coaching revenue
Analyze KPIs and financial reports to guide strategic decision-making
Train and mentor Club Managers and staff to build leadership from within
Ensure exceptional member experiences, facility cleanliness, and service quality
Implement marketing and community outreach efforts in coordination with the marketing director
Monitor and improve retention of members and coaching clients
Maintain active involvement on social platforms and in club communications
Lead hiring and staffing efforts to attract and retain top talent
Promote and uphold company values and culture across all locations
Who We’re Looking For
Proven leader and team builder with strong coaching and development experience
Charismatic and genuine communicator with high emotional intelligence
Results-oriented with a strong understanding of fitness sales and operations
Capable of managing multiple priorities and club performance metrics
Tech-savvy and data-driven (MS Office, iOS proficiency, CRM experience preferred)
Passionate about helping others and promoting healthy lifestyles
Qualifications
2 years of experience in fitness leadership, sales, or multi-unit management
Fitness industry background preferred; personal training or coaching cert preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
CPR, AED & First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
Work Environment & Expectations
Travel required to each club weekly (within a 100-mile radius)
Role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings/Saturdays
On-your-feet leadership: must be comfortable engaging on the gym floor and lifting up to 50 lbs
