Job Summary
The club support team member is a passionate individual who seeks to help members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness. This person is responsible for day-to-day office tasks, club cleanliness, welcoming guests and members to the gym, and selling membership and training services. This role requires a considerable amount of self-motivation, ability to collaborate and communicate, and ability to influence others in a positive way.
Key Responsibilities
- Membership sales- a large component of the club support role is centered around membership and sales. You must qualify, inform, inspire, and convert leads and walk-ins to members. Commission will be paid on all completed sales.
- Member Account Maintenance tasks - Contact and update members billing information when needed. Field and attempt to save cancellation requests. Assist members with freezing/unfreezing their accounts.
- Day-to-day club support tasks - Club support team members will need to take on some club operations tasks either daily, or as the needs present themselves. Cleaning is a large part of this role to ensure the club presents well to prospects and meets our clubs' standards of excellence.
- Team Player - work with other club team members to ensure results through motivation and fun, which is a key component of being a club team player.
- Culture creators - Club support team members love creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family. They deliver top-notch customer service and aim to improve the lives of each person they meet.
Job Requirements
Experience in the fitness Industry is not required, but great communication and soft skills are. A good candidate for the club position is:
- 18 years or older
- Passionate about benefits of fitness for themselves and for others
- Friendly, outgoing, and warm
- Genuine and honest
- Technologically savvy
- Self-motivated
- Able to work Monday and Wednesday afternoons, and Saturdays
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
