Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Controller located in Springfield, MO. The Financial Controller will oversee financial operations, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounting processes, and providing financial reporting. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, budget management, and the development of financial strategies to support the company’s goals. Close collaboration with leadership to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analytics is a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting practices
- Strong knowledge and experience in Accounting and Finance principles
- Excellent Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Highly detail-oriented and organized with strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years' experience as Controller required.
- Experience in the manufacturing, retail, or fishing industry is a plus
- Expert level in Excel required.
- Proficiency in Oracle Netsuite is highly desirable
- Experience with Power BI or other dashboard reporting tools is highly desirable.
