Anyscale is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience managing financial records and reports. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and contributing to our financial health and compliance.
This individual will be excited to collaborate with their coworkers in person at our SF office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
\n- Maintain and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluxes as part of month end/quarter end/year end reporting
- Process expense reports
- Assist with the implementation of internal financial controls and procedures
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Stay updated with industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and company policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience
- 1 years of experience in a tech startup environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with Netsuite, bill.com, Expensify, Brex preferred
- Experience with Excel and Google Sheets
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
