Any Lab Test Now, in Daphne, Alabama, is a walk-in, Direct Access, retail location that provides customers with the opportunity to take control of their health care. We provide thousands of blood tests, paternity testing and drug screens. We service consumers as well as business customers.
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time phlebotomist. This person will be the only phlebotomist running this store and will need to do all tasks from making appointments, completing lab orders, collecting specimen, cleaning the store, sending out appointment reminders, among many other things. The person that we hire for this position will need to have had a steady work history, is able to work and keep the store open for up to 40 hours a week for our published hours, has computer experience, is able to stick all customer/patients on their own with noone as a backup, has a great customer service attitude that make our customers want to come back, who has computer experience (especially with Excel), who is knowledgeable about clinical tests, and can work well with the owners and fellow peers from our other stores.
Duties and Needs
You draw quality blood samples from clients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
You have a great attitude, you are a detail oriented, self-starter who takes pride in the quality of your work
You will be collecting for standard clinical labs, performing Vitamin B-12 injections, a variety of wellness test DNA tests and administering drug screenings.
You will have direct contact with clients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner
Organizational skills- track inventory, keep records, order supplies
You are dependable and reliable and make a great first impression
You demonstrate superior customer focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and clients; ability to accelerate and embrace change
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA regulations and the laws surrounding PHI
All candidates should possess the following skills:
REQUIRED:
- 1-2 years of recent experience drawing blood (not including time in school or clinicals)
- Extremely customer service oriented
- Extensive Computer skills- must be experienced in Excel .
- Organizational skills- track inventory, keep records, order supplies
- Dependable and reliable and is able to work 32-40 hours a week of our published hours without fail
DESIRED:
- Marketing experience
- Art skills
- Someone that would occasionally work in our Pensacola store if needed
- Someone that could work 1-2 Saturdays a month in our Pensacola store (3-4 hours on a Saturday morning)
