Job Description
Any Lab Test Now – Beavercreek is a retail lab testing center providing convenient access to laboratory testing services. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist to join our team.
The ideal candidate has experience drawing blood, performing various specimen collections, processing samples, and providing excellent customer service in a professional, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws, as well as urine, saliva, hair, and nail specimen collections, following specific collection procedures.
- Process, centrifuge, label, package, and ship specimens according to laboratory requirements.
- Coordinate and call for courier pickups to ensure timely specimen transport.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and guide them through available testing options while helping them feel comfortable and informed.
- Use computer systems to search for tests, register customers, schedule appointments by phone, and assist walk-in customers.
- Print specimen labels and laboratory requisitions, accurately record transactions, and maintain organized store records.
- Answer phone calls, assist with daily store operations, and politely request customer reviews at the end of visits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while following specimen handling, infection control, and confidentiality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or in a similar clinical setting.
- Hands-on blood draw experience and familiarity with various specimen collection procedures.
- Experience with specimen processing, centrifugation, packaging, and shipping preferred.
- Strong computer, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Friendly, professional, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a customer-facing environment.
