We are a growing mental health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals seeking recovery and stability. Our team is committed to making a meaningful impact in people’s lives, and we’re looking for a driven Admissions Counselor who can help connect individuals and families to the care they need.
Position Overview
The Admissions Counselor serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and referral sources. This role blends clinical understanding with strong sales and relationship-building skills to guide individuals through the admissions process. The ideal candidate is empathetic, persuasive, and highly motivated to meet admissions goals while maintaining ethical standards.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00AM - 8:00PM
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries (calls, emails, web leads) in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct phone assessments and pre-screenings to determine program fit
- Build rapport with prospective clients and families, providing education about services
- Guide clients through the admissions process from initial contact to enrollment
- Maintain consistent follow-up with leads to drive admissions conversions
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources (therapists, hospitals, treatment centers)
- Meet and exceed monthly admissions and conversion targets
- Accurately document all interactions in CRM/EHR systems
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
Qualifications
- 2 years of admissions, sales, or business development experience (behavioral health preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in mental health or substance use treatment strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
