Experienced Welder/Fabricator

Anvil Industrial Group is looking to hire an Experienced Welder/Fabricator with experience with industrial and construction equipment. Must be able to weld, fabricate, read blueprints, have a mechanical aptitude, and have a good work ethic. Will be required to move, assemble, install, and dismantle machinery in the shop. Process material, fabricate, and weld in our fabrication facility.

Responsibilities will include:

• Read and interpret fabrication and installation blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to Structural Steel and machinery
• Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation, and reassemble it at the appropriate time
• Move equipment to the appropriate site for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards
• Create solid foundations for machines on-site and instruct other construction workers about safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operations
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure client specifications are met.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Extensive cutting, welding, and fabrication skills
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes
• Excellent natural problem-solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude
• Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints
• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly
• Excellent attendance and the ability to work overtime.
• A valid Driver’s License is highly preferred
• Must pass the Weld Test and Blue Print Reading Test

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour - Pay is based on DOE, passing the weld test, and passing the blueprint test!
