We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to support our monthly cost allocation processes and fixed asset accounting activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and monitor monthly cost allocation cycles in Oracle PPM & GL
- Maintain fixed asset records, including additions and retirements in PowerPlan
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support monthly close
- Review and analyze data for audits and regulatory filings
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FERC, SOX, and company policies
- Partner with business units to resolve project and cost-related issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Preferred experience with: PowerPlan, Oracle GL, Oracle PPM
- Utility industry experience is a plus
