Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Electrical Engineer located in Edinburg, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, including tasks such as development of electrical design loading calculations, development of one-line diagrams, electrical design drawings and specifications, electrical support for setting up pilot testing, design support, procurement support, construction administration, commissioning support and project closeout. This includes coordinating with other team members and stakeholders. The Senior Electrical Engineer will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified technical and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Electrical Project Engineering and Project Management skills
- Experience in Project Planning and Electrical Engineering
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4-8 years' experience in providing electrical support for water and wastewater treatment projects is preferred, but not required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is preferred, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of start of employment
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
