Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Manager located in Edinburg, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of execution of engineering projects, including tasks such as junior engineer training, report writing and/or quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) review, development of design calculations and review of calculations by other staff, support of permitting and/or regulatory project tasks, support of project environmental clearance tasks, development of innovative technology pilot testing protocols, support and QA/QC review of design deliverables, client support during procurement steps, client assistance during construction phases, commissioning assistance and project closeout. This role includes high-level coordination with senior team members, training of junior team members, and frequent coordination with clients and stakeholders. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified technical and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Project Engineering and Project Management skills
- Experience in project planning and Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field
- 5 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment projects is preferred, but not required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is required, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of start of employment
- Knowledge of water and wastewater industry standards and regulations (preferred experience with Texas regulations, but not required)
