Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Engineer located in Edinburg, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, including tasks such as report writing, development of design calculations, permitting and/or regulatory project support in working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), project environmental clearance, innovative technology pilot testing, design support, procurement support, construction administration, commissioning and project closeout. This includes coordinating with other team members and stakeholders. The Project Engineer will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified technical and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Project Engineering and Project Management skills
• Experience in Project Planning and civil and/or environmental Engineering
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field
• 4-8 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment projects is preferred, but not required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is preferred, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of start of employment 
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
