Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graduate Engineer located in Edinburg, TX. The Graduate Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of civil and environmental engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research, preparing reports, performing site inspections, and collaborating with senior engineers. Additional tasks may include development of design calculations, project environmental clearance support, design support, procurement support, construction administration support, and project closeout support. The role also involves supporting project management tasks to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Understanding of civil and environmental engineering principles
- Experience with research, data analysis, and report preparation
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work on-site in Edinburg, TX
- Experience in the civil or environmental engineering industry is preferred (with a focus on water and/or wastewater treatment, collection or distribution), but not required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred, but not required
